East Coast Trip, May 2006
During May 2006 Anne and I made a trip to Georgia and North Carolina. We visited her brother Nick in Savannah and her sister in Charolette.

Quite a bit of Savannah looks like this, large oak trees with Spanish moss on the limbs hanging over the streets.

Anne and her neice Nancy in Charlotte.

Anne and her sister and some neice's in Charlotte. Backrow: Patty, Anne, Mary Anne and Rosemarie. Front row: Therese and Nancy.

Robert (Anne's nephew), his boat and "Captain" Anne,

Trell, Robert, Anne and Nick at Robert's home.

The "pot-man" in Augie's and Maryanne's backyard.

David, Carol and Nicole at Nicks.

Nick, Anne and Therese at Therese and Bill's in Charlotte.
This is called a lowcountry boil and it's mighty good vittles. It consists of shrimp, Italian sausage, corn on the cob, new potatoes and various seasonings. All of this is boiled in water togather until it reaches the scrumptious stage. It's poured out of the basket onto the table and everyone helps themselves.

Anne and a long-time friend, Helen Cribbs.

Nick and two of his sons. Nick III(on left) and David.
