Baseball Game and New Friends

On June 21, 2008 we accompanied Tod, Mary and Becky to watch the Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners farm team) play the Portland Beavers (San Diego farm team) at Cheney Park in Tacoma. We don't know how the game turned out as we left about the 5th inning because it was cold and we had light jackets. This was the annual outing sponsored by Frito Lay (where Tod works). During the game Anne met some new friends as shown in the following two pictures.




Here she is "getting Chummy" with Chester the Cheeta, the Frito Lay's Mascot.



I don't know what Anne was saying to Rhubarb the Raindeer (he is the Tacoma Rainiers mascot), but he seems to be trying to keep it a secret..
